Summary of the Role
A Reproductive Health Nurse Practitioner provides specialized care in areas related to reproductive health, including family planning, fertility, prenatal and postpartum care. They work closely with patients to provide education, counseling, and medical services. As a junior member of the team, the Reproductive Health Nurse Practitioner will be expected to learn quickly and work under supervision to provide the highest level of patient care.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Completion of a Nurse Practitioner program with a focus on reproductive health or women's health.
Eligibility for Nurse Practitioner certification in reproductive health
Current CPR certification
Responsibilities
Conduct patient assessments and health history evaluations related to reproductive health.
Administer treatments and medications as prescribed by supervising medical professionals.
Provide counseling and education to patients on topics such as contraception, sexually transmitted infections, and general reproductive health.
Assist with procedures and reproductive health surgeries under the guidance of senior staff.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.
Keep accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
Participate in continuous education to stay updated on best practices and new developments in reproductive health care.
