Summary of the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Ophthalmologist to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing eye-related disorders, performing eye surgeries, and providing comprehensive eye care to patients.

Proven experience with eye surgery and using ophthalmic equipment.

Qualifications
Medical degree from an accredited medical school and completion of residency in ophthalmology.
Valid state medical license to practice ophthalmology.
Board certification or eligibility in ophthalmology.
Strong surgical skills, particularly in procedures relevant to comprehensive ophthalmology.
Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to keep detailed records and maintain patient confidentiality.
Responsibilities
Diagnose and treat a range of eye diseases and injuries.
Perform surgical procedures to correct vision, such as LASIK, cataract surgery, and glaucoma surgery.
Prescribe and fit eyeglasses and contact lenses.
Provide pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgeries.
Manage emergency eye care for acute conditions.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated patient care.
Stay up to date with the latest advancements in ophthalmology, and integrate new technologies and methods into patient care.
Educate patients on eye health, including preventative care and the treatment of eye conditions.
