Summary of the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Junior Nurse Midwife to provide primary healthcare to women, including prenatal, delivery, postpartum, and gynecological care. Qualifications
Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing and midwifery program.
Possess a current Registered Nurse license and be certified or eligible for certification as a Certified Nurse Midwife.
Basic life support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be preferred.
Strong clinical skills including prenatal care, labor and delivery, and postpartum care.
Ability to remain compassionate and patient-centered in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Provide full-scope midwifery care to patients including prenatal exams, labor and delivery support, postpartum care, and routine gynecological services.
Educate and counsel women, families, and the community regarding health issues during pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum period.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure a safe and nurturing environment for childbirth.
Participate in on-call rotations to support patients during labor and delivery.
Monitor and ensure the health of mothers and newborns post-delivery.
Keep accurate and detailed records of patient's health and progress.
