Qualifications

Professional Engineering (PE) license is highly desirable.
In-depth understanding of hydroelectric power systems, water resource management, and energy regulation.
Familiarity with industry-standard software for hydrological modeling, structural analysis, and project management.
Experience with government, regulatory compliance, and permitting processes related to energy projects.
Responsibilities
Lead and oversee the design and construction of hydroelectric power plant projects, ensuring they meet technical specifications and safety standards.
Conduct comprehensive feasibility studies and environmental impact assessments for proposed hydroelectric installations.
Coordinate and manage project teams comprised of engineers, scientists, and construction personnel.
Develop and maintain project documentation, including design blueprints, project plans, and progress reports.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues related to hydraulics, geology, and materials used in hydroelectric projects.
Engage with stakeholders, including local communities, regulatory agencies, and utility companies, to ensure projects meet societal and environmental needs.
Promote innovative solutions to improve energy efficiency and reduce environmental impacts of hydroelectric power generation.
Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation and financial accountability.
