Summary of the Role
Seeking a dedicated and skilled Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality care to critically ill patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in acute care, thrive in high-pressure environments, and possess the ability to make quick decisions. As an ICU Nurse Practitioner, you will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications
Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner with a specialty in acute care, adult health, or equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in an intensive care or acute care setting.
Completion of a master's degree in nursing or a related field from an accredited program.
Certification as an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP) or similar.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, due to the dynamic nature of the ICU.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and establish appropriate treatment plans for critically ill patients.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
Perform advanced medical procedures within scope of practice, such as intubation, central line insertions, and lumbar punctures.
Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
Educate patients and their families on illness management and prevention strategies, ensuring high-quality patient and family-centered care.
Respond to medical emergencies and provide resuscitation or stabilization measures as needed.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality of all patient information.
