Membership in a state bar if acting within a legal advisory capacity.
Experience in drafting, reviewing, and editing legal documents.

Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
Experience in leading or mentoring junior legal staff members is an asset.
Responsibilities
Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis on complex legal issues.
Prepare detailed reports summarizing research and analysis for consumption by legal teams and stakeholders.
Review and interpret contracts, laws, court decisions, and other legal sources to determine impacts on company projects and policies.
Assist in the preparation of pleadings, responses, and other legal documents.
Advise and assist various departments on legal matters relating to the company's business activities.
Provide mentoring and guidance to junior legal staff.
Liaise with external counsel and other legal service providers as needed.
Monitor and report on developments in laws and regulations relevant to the company's operations.
Support compliance efforts by evaluating existing policies and recommending improvements.
Collaborate with the legal team to develop legal strategies.
