Summary of the Role
As a Family Therapist, you will provide counseling and support to families, working through various emotional, psychological, and behavioral challenges. You will use a range of therapeutic techniques to help family members understand each other better and improve communication. Your goal will be to facilitate healthy relationships and help families develop coping strategies to deal with difficulties as a cohesive unit.

Qualifications
Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, Social Work or related field.
State licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or equivalent.
2-5 years of experience in family therapy or a related field.
Proven ability to handle a caseload with multiple clients and assessments.
Experience working with a diverse range of family structures and issues.
Knowledge of legal and ethical issues related to family therapy.
Responsibilities
Conduct therapy sessions with individuals, couples, and families to address emotional and behavioral issues.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on thorough assessments.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
Evaluate the effectiveness of therapy and make adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
Provide crisis intervention as needed.
Guide family members through the process of understanding and overcoming personal and relational conflicts.
Educate family members about mental health issues and how family dynamics affect individual behaviors.
Maintain confidential client records and provide documentation for all therapeutic interventions.
