Summary of the Role

Familiarity with laboratory procedures and testing methods for quality control.
Responsibilities
Conduct regular inspections of poultry at various stages of production and processing.
Identify, evaluate, and document quality assurance issues in poultry products.
Understand and enforce compliance with all federal, state, and industry quality standards and regulations.
Collect samples for laboratory testing to check for contaminants or residues.
Work closely with farm and facility managers to discuss and resolve quality issues.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspection findings and actions taken.
Provide training to farm and processing plant staff on quality control measures and best practices.
