Qualifications
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
Completion of a residency in general surgery followed by a fellowship in minimally invasive/bariatric surgery.
Board certification in General Surgery and/or subspecialty relevant to minimally invasive surgery.
Valid and active medical license.
Eligibility to be credentialed for surgical privileges by the medical staff.
Responsibilities
Consult with patients and their families to discuss surgical options and outcomes.
Perform minimally invasive surgical procedures using advanced equipment such as laparoscopes and robotics.
Collaborate with the surgical team, including anesthesiologists, nurses, and other surgeons, to plan and execute surgeries.

Participate in research and clinical trials to advance the field of minimally invasive surgery.
Provide postoperative care and follow-up with patients to ensure proper recovery.
Educate patients and medical students about minimally invasive surgical techniques.
