Summary of the Role
We are seeking an experienced Interventional Pain Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team to help create and implement pain management plans for our patients. Qualifications
Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
Active medical license and certification in pain management or anesthesiology.
A minimum of 2-5 years' experience in interventional pain management.
Proven track record of performing pain relief procedures with precision and care.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Responsibilities
Consult with patients to assess their pain and determine the most effective treatment plan.
Perform interventional procedures such as epidural steroid injections, nerve blocks, and radiofrequency ablations.
Prescribe medications and therapies as necessary to manage patients' pain and discomfort.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
Keep up-to-date with the latest pain management techniques and integrate them into patient treatment plans.
Educate patients and their families about pain management and available treatment options.
Participate in research studies and clinical trials to advance the field of pain management.
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for all patients.
