Responsibilities
Examine damaged vehicles and estimate repair costs.
Remove damaged body parts, including bumpers, fenders, hoods, grilles, and trim, and prepare them for repair.
Repair body panels and structural components to industry standards.
Perform advanced paint matching and application to restore vehicles to their original condition.
Use welding and soldering equipment to repair and join metal parts.
Align vehicle frames and chassis to repair structural damage.
Install new windows and windshields.
Guide and mentor junior technicians in repair techniques.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety regulations.
Operate and maintain body shop tools and equipment.
