Summary of the Role
As a Senior Automotive Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that all automotive products meet the industry's strict quality standards before they reach consumers. Utilizing your extensive experience and technical knowledge, you will lead quality assurance processes, oversee testing protocols, and work closely with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing processes and product designs.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive quality engineering.
In-depth knowledge of quality systems and standards (e.g., ISO/TS 16949, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan, MSA, SPC).
Experience with supplier management and quality audits.
Experience in root cause analysis and implementing corrective action processes.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work with teams across different departments.
Experience with lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and methods for processing materials into partially finished or finished products.
Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to establish quality standards and to discuss product specifications and processes.
Advise on corrective actions, ensuring continuous improvement in manufacturing processes, designs, and quality control.
Perform root cause analysis on product failures and issues reported from the field.
Monitor the manufacturing process, ensuring that production lines comply with legal and company standards for safety and quality.
Manage and develop supplier quality performance, conducting audits and assessments.
Lead the team of quality inspectors and technicians in day-to-day activities.
Analyze quality control test results and provide feedback and interpretation to production management and staff.
