Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or associate degree in nursing with a commitment to earn a BSN within a specified timeframe.
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
0-2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a cardiac care setting.
Eligible to work in the United States.
Ability to perform in a fast-paced and high-stress environment, especially in emergency situations.
Responsibilities
Assist in the monitoring of patients with heart conditions, including heart attacks, arrhythmias, and post-surgical recovery.
Administer and adjust patient medications as prescribed by the attending physician.
Provide post-operative care, including wound assessment and management.
Educate patients and their families on heart health, post-discharge care, and lifestyle adjustments.
Record patient data and maintain accurate medical records.
Assist in performing diagnostic tests such as EKGs and stress tests.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
Respond to and manage emergency situations with guidance from senior staff.
