Qualifications
Current and valid Nurse Practitioner license.

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a nurse practitioner, with preferred experience in hematology or oncology.
Certification as a Nurse Practitioner from a recognized certification board.
Eligibility to obtain a DEA number for prescription authority.
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Responsibilities
Perform patient assessments and provide care for patients with hematological disorders.
Collaborate with hematologists and other healthcare professionals in developing treatment plans.
Prescribe medications, blood transfusions, and other treatments as necessary.
Monitor patient responses to treatments and adjust care plans accordingly.
Provide education to patients and their families on disease management and prevention.
Participate in research and remain current with advancements in hematology and nursing practice.
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
Provide support and palliative care to patients with terminal hematological conditions.
