Qualifications
Medical degree from an accredited medical school and completion of a residency in orthopedic surgery or plastic surgery.
Fellowship training in hand surgery.
Board certification in orthopedic surgery or plastic surgery.
Valid and active medical license.
Minimum of 5 years of surgical experience with a focus on hand surgery following fellowship training.
Strong track record of successful hand surgery outcomes.
Authorization to work in the respective country.
Responsibilities
Perform complex hand surgeries including but not limited to reconstructive surgery, microvascular surgery, and tendon repair.
Diagnose hand conditions through physical examinations, imaging studies, and other diagnostic tests.
Provide emergency care for hand injuries and conduct follow-up visits to monitor patient progress.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals such as physical therapists, occupational therapists, and rheumatologists to provide comprehensive care.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in hand surgery and incorporate new techniques and treatments as appropriate.
Educate patients about their conditions, surgical procedures, and postoperative care.
Participate in research and development in the field of hand surgery.
