Summary of the Role
The Corporate Counsel will be responsible for providing legal advice and guidance to the organization on a range of corporate matters, including contracts, mergers and acquisitions, compliance, and governance. This role requires a proactive individual who can navigate complex legal issues and support the company's business objectives while minimizing risk.

Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Admitted to practice law in at least one U.S. state
2-5 years of relevant legal experience, preferably with some in-house corporate counsel experience
Strong understanding of corporate law, contracts, and business transactions
Experience with mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and other corporate transactions
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
Responsibilities
Advise on various corporate legal issues and business initiatives
Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements
Support the legal aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions
Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
Provide counsel on corporate governance matters and assist with board and shareholder meetings
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate legal risks
Assist in the development and implementation of company policies and procedures
