Summary of the Role
As a Senior Automotive Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be a crucial part of the team responsible for ensuring that all automotive systems and components meet stringent quality standards. In this role, you will oversee the development and implementation of quality assurance protocols, work with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues, and contribute to the continuous improvement of quality processes throughout the automotive production lifecycle.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related technical field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance within the automotive industry.
Proven track record of implementing successful quality assurance programs and initiatives.
Strong understanding of automotive engineering principles, manufacturing processes, and industry standards (such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
Experience with quality management systems and software.
Proven ability to lead and manage a team.
Certification in Quality Engineering or Quality Auditing is a plus.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain quality assurance policies and procedures specific to the automotive industry.
Conduct audits and assessments of production processes to identify potential quality issues and areas for improvement.
Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to define quality requirements for new automotive products and components.
Oversee the execution of test plans, including durability testing, failure analysis, and risk assessment, to ensure product reliability and compliance with industry standards.
Manage root cause analysis and corrective action processes in response to quality incidents or customer feedback.
Lead and mentor junior QA engineers and technicians, promoting a culture of quality and accountability within the team.
Liaise with suppliers to ensure material and component quality meet required specifications.
Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and regulations related to automotive quality assurance.
Prepare detailed reports on quality metrics, audit results, and improvement initiatives for senior management review.
