Summary of the Role
As a junior Transplant Nurse Practitioner, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide care for patients before, during, and after organ transplantation. In this role, you will support transplant surgeons, monitor patient progress, and ensure the comprehensive coordination of care.

Qualifications
Valid Nurse Practitioner license.
Degree from an accredited nursing program.
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
Understanding of transplant procedures and post-operative care.
Eligibility to obtain a Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) license.
Responsibilities
Assist in the evaluation and preparation of patients for organ transplantation.
Monitor and manage post-operative care and recovery of transplant patients.
Coordinate with the transplant team to ensure consistent patient care.
Educate patients and families about the transplant process and post-transplant care.
Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and contribute to treatment plans.
Maintain accurate patient records and document all care provided.
Assist in the management of organ donor cases.
Act as a liaison between patients, families, and the transplant team.
