Summary of the Role

Qualifications
Certified and registered as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) with a specialization in Fluoroscopy.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Fluoroscopy Technologist.
Current and valid state licensure for radiology technology.
Advanced knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
BLS certification or ability to obtain certification.
Responsibilities
Perform complex fluoroscopic procedures and evaluate the images for technical quality.
Assist physicians during invasive procedures, ensuring that high-quality diagnostic imagery is provided in real-time.
Ensure radiation safety measures are followed to protect patients and staff.
Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot fluoroscopic equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Provide training and mentorship to junior technologists and support staff.
Collaborate with radiologists to refine imaging protocols and optimize patient care.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality of all medical information.
Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
