Qualifications

2-5 years of experience in livestock management or feedlot operations.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Proficiency with record-keeping and inventory management software.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
Responsibilities
Manage the daily operations of the feedlot facility, including feeding, health checks, and sanitation.
Coordinate with nutritionists and veterinarians to develop and implement feeding programs and health care plans tailored to the needs of cattle.
Monitor the performance and growth of the livestock, adjusting feeding schedules and nutrition as necessary.
Ensure the feedlot meets all local, state, and federal regulations related to animal health and welfare, as well as environmental standards.
Hire, train, and supervise feedlot staff, promoting a culture of safety and efficiency.
Maintain accurate records of livestock, feed supplies, equipment maintenance, and financial transactions.
Regularly communicate with upper management, providing reports and updates on feedlot performance and challenges.
Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to optimize the profitability of the feedlot operations.
Develop and oversee budgets, closely managing expenses to improve financial performance.
