Summary of the Role
As an intermediate Family Practice Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive healthcare services to patients of all ages. The role involves working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to offer primary care, diagnose and treat illnesses, prescribe medications, and educate patients and their families on health and wellness.

Qualifications
Current state license as a Nurse Practitioner
Master's degree in nursing (MSN) from an accredited program
National Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in family practice or primary care
Active Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration
Basic Life Support (BLS) and/or Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
Responsibilities
Conduct patient interviews, medical histories, and physical examinations
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic diseases
Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests such as lab work and x-rays
Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans
Provide health education and counseling to patients and their families
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to coordinate patient care
Monitor patient progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed
Document patient care in electronic medical records
Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to professional ethics
Participate in ongoing continuing education to stay current with best practices
