Summary of the Role
An Animal Control Officer is responsible for ensuring public safety by managing and controlling stray, dangerous, or potentially diseased animals. Capture and transport animals using humane methods.

Testify in court regarding animal control cases when necessary.
Assist in the development and implementation of community animal control programs.
Provide emergency medical care to injured animals as needed.
