Qualifications

Experience in budget management and cost control.
Familiarity with event registration software and other event management tools.
Certification as a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) or similar is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
Develop comprehensive project plans for each event, including timelines, venues, suppliers, legal obligations, staffing and budgets.
Lead the coordination and management of all event logistics, ensuring seamless execution.
Negotiate contracts with venues, speakers, caterers, and other vendors.
Collaborate with marketing teams to promote events and engage attendees.
Manage the event budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and financial accountability.
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory requirements during event planning and execution.
Provide leadership and guidance to junior staff and volunteers involved in event organization.
Conduct post-event evaluations to assess outcomes and identify areas for improvement.
