Summary of the Role
The Director of Institutional Research will provide leadership and strategic direction for the institutional research department, ensuring high-quality data collection, analysis, and reporting that supports institutional decision-making, policy formation, and strategic planning. The successful candidate will manage a team of research analysts and collaborate with various stakeholders across the institution to improve educational outcomes and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

Strong understanding of higher education policies, accreditation processes, and regulatory reporting requirements.
Experience with statistical software packages and database management systems.
Demonstrated ability to communicate complex information to a variety of audiences.
Responsibilities
Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive research projects and data analysis to support institutional planning and decision-making.
Manage the collection, analysis, and presentation of data related to enrollment, retention, graduation, accreditation, and other key performance indicators.
Oversee the preparation of timely and accurate reports for internal stakeholders and external agencies.
Collaborate with senior leadership to identify research needs and align research efforts with institutional goals.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and other regulatory reporting requirements.
Supervise and mentor a team of institutional research staff, promoting professional development and high standards of work.
Foster a culture of data-informed decision-making throughout the institution.
Liaise with academic and administrative departments to support data-driven initiatives.
