We are seeking a dedicated Irrigation Specialist to design, manage, and maintain our irrigation projects. Proficiency in using irrigation management software and tools.
Strong understanding of water conservation techniques and sustainability practices.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed to project sites.
Responsibilities
Designing and planning irrigation projects in accordance with client specifications and environmental best practices.
Inspecting and managing irrigation systems to ensure optimal performance.
Troubleshooting and repairing systems as needed, including pumps, valves, and other hydraulic components.
Conducting soil moisture and water use assessments to recommend improvements for water conservation.
Collaborating with agricultural scientists or landscape architects to develop integrated irrigation solutions.
Providing training and guidance to junior staff on irrigation techniques and technologies.
Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal water use regulations.
Keeping up-to-date with the latest advancements in irrigation technology to propose upgrades and enhancements.
