Responsibilities
Supervise daily farm operations, including feeding, medication, and maintenance of poultry houses.
Implement biosecurity measures to prevent the spread of disease and maintain flock health.
Monitor bird growth and health, and respond to any signs of distress or illness quickly and effectively.
Manage and train farm personnel in the best practices of poultry husbandry.
Maintain records of poultry production and prepare reports on performance indicators.
Ensure compliance with government regulations and industry standards.
Develop and manage the farm budget, including cost control and revenue optimization.
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for the procurement of feed, equipment, and other necessities.
Implement and update the farm's strategic plan, including improvements in production processes and technology adoption.
