Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality engineering or a related role within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
Certifications such as Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, or similar.
Strong understanding of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and practices.
Proficiency in quality management system standards such as ISO 9001, AS9100, or equivalent.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement quality management systems (QMS) in accordance with industry standards.
Lead internal and external quality audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Investigate product and process failures and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quality assurance practices into all phases of development and manufacturing.
Analyze data to identify areas for improvement in the quality system and drive process optimization.
Monitor and coach junior staff to ensure products meet requisite quality standards.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant industry trends, standards, and regulations.
Support supplier qualification and management processes to ensure supply chain quality.
