Summary of the Role
As a Senior Bankruptcy Specialist, you will be tasked with managing and resolving complex bankruptcy cases, providing expert advice and guidance on bankruptcy law, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. This role requires a deep understanding of bankruptcy proceedings, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work closely with attorneys, creditors, and debtors.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in bankruptcy case management or related field.
Comprehensive knowledge of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code and court procedures.
Experience working with bankruptcy software and case management systems.
Certification in insolvency and restructuring advisory (CIRA) or similar is an advantage.
Responsibilities
Oversee and manage complex bankruptcy cases from initiation to resolution.
Ensure accurate and timely processing of bankruptcy notifications, proofs of claim, and plan confirmations.
Analyze bankruptcy documents and financial statements to assess the impact on the organization.
Provide expert advice on bankruptcy laws and regulations to internal stakeholders.
Collaborate with legal counsel to develop strategies for maximizing recoveries and minimizing losses.
Stay updated with changes in bankruptcy law and propose updates to internal policies accordingly.
Assist in the training and mentoring of junior bankruptcy analysts.
Prepare and present reports on bankruptcy cases to management.
