Summary of the Role
As a Senior Neonatal Nurse, you will be responsible for providing advanced nursing care to newborns with various health issues, working in specialized neonatal intensive care units (NICUs). You will manage complex medical situations, guide junior staff, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver the best outcomes for patients and their families.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years' experience in a neonatal intensive care unit.
Advanced knowledge of neonatal diseases, treatments, and healthcare protocols.
CPR and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications.
Demonstrated leadership and mentorship skills.
Proven ability to work under pressure in critical care environments.
Responsibilities
Assess and monitor the health of newborns and provide immediate medical care as needed.
Administer medication and perform medical procedures in accordance with hospital protocols.
Develop and implement nursing care plans for high-risk infants.
Educate and support parents and families about newborn care and conditions.
Collaborate with pediatricians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
Lead, mentor, and train junior nurses and other healthcare team members.
Manage complex cases and make critical decisions in high-pressure situations.
Maintain accurate records and document all care provided.
Stay current with advancements in neonatal care, treatments, and technology.
