Basic life support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain.
Responsibilities
Greet and assist patients, visitors, and healthcare professionals at the front desk with warmth and professionalism.
Manage patient check-ins, verify demographic and insurance information, and ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed accurately.
Answer and route incoming calls, providing information and transferring calls as necessary while maintaining patient confidentiality.
Coordinate appointment scheduling, including handling cancellations and rescheduling requests, to maximize clinic efficiency.
Maintain an organized and clean reception area, ensuring that all patient-focused materials are up-to-date and readily available.
Develop and implement front desk policies and procedures to improve patient satisfaction and streamline administrative processes.
Train and mentor junior reception staff, setting an example of excellence in customer service and administrative duties.
Handle patient concerns and complaints with empathy and professionalism, escalating to appropriate staff when necessary.
