Summary of the Role
The Safety Engineer will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the company's safety programs. They will ensure that all procedures and operations are in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and company policies. The successful candidate will work to prevent accidents, injuries, and work-related illnesses in the workplace.

Qualifications

Responsibilities
Develop and enforce company safety policies and regulations.
Inspect work areas and equipment to identify potential hazards and to ensure compliance with safety standards.
Investigate accidents to determine causes and to find ways to prevent them in the future.
Conduct safety training sessions for employees and management.
Monitor safety performance and report on safety issues to upper management.
Liaise with regulatory bodies regarding safety inspections and audits.
Recommend changes to work conditions and use of equipment to improve work safety.
