Summary of the Role
As a VAT Specialist, you will be responsible for managing value-added tax (VAT) related tasks for our organization. You will ensure compliance with VAT regulations, prepare VAT returns, and provide advisory services on VAT matters to various departments within the company.

At least 2 years of relevant experience in VAT or indirect taxes.
Familiarity with VAT legislation and compliance requirements in relevant jurisdictions.
Experience with financial software and VAT reporting tools.
Responsibilities
Ensure timely and accurate filing of VAT returns and payments.
Keep up to date with changes in VAT legislation and advise on the implications for the business.
Reconcile VAT accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
Assist with VAT audits and liaise with tax authorities as required.
Provide training and support to other departments on VAT-related issues.
Review and improve VAT-related processes and controls within the company.
Prepare and maintain documentation for VAT transactions in accordance with statutory requirements.
