Summary of the Role
Seeking an experienced NICU Nurse to provide specialized care for newborn infants with a range of health issues, including prematurity, birth defects, infection, cardiac malformations, and surgical complications. The right candidate will join our dedicated team in a dynamic and high-tech neonatal intensive care unit.

Qualifications
Valid RN license and ability to practice in the state of employment
Minimum of 2 years of NICU experience or completion of a neonatal residency program
Certification in Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing (RNC-NIC) is preferred
BLS (Basic Life Support) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications
Strong clinical skills with the ability to react decisively in emergency situations
Knowledge of neonatal pharmacology and the administration of medications
Awareness of legal and ethical standards for the care of neonatal patients
Responsibilities
Provide critical care to premature and sick newborn infants in a NICU setting
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to plan and implement patient care plans
Educate and support families in understanding their babies' conditions and care requirements
Monitor vital signs and health indicators, such as blood pressure, temperature, and heart rate
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by neonatologists
Operate and monitor NICU equipment, such as ventilators and incubators
Document patient care activities and progress in the medical record
Participate in continuous education to keep up-to-date with the latest NICU practices and technologies
