Summary of the Role
As a Senior Paralegal, you will provide critical support to attorneys by assisting with the management of cases, preparation of legal documents, and research. You will leverage your extensive experience in the legal field to oversee junior paralegals, maintain case files, and ensure compliance with legal procedures.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in law, paralegal studies, or related field
Paralegal certification (e.g., Certified Paralegal (CP) or Certified Legal Assistant (CLA))
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in a senior role
Experience working with legal software and case management systems
Strong understanding of legal terminology, principles, and procedures
Familiarity with court filing procedures, including electronic filing (e-filing)
Keen attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
Responsibilities
Conduct legal research and gather relevant information to the case
Draft legal documents including briefs, pleadings, appeals, agreements, contracts, and legal memoranda
Assist in preparing for depositions, hearings, trials, and meetings
Manage and organize large volumes of documents, including creating and maintaining a database
Liaise with clients, attorneys, and other professionals to coordinate legal activities
Mentor and oversee junior paralegal staff and delegate tasks as needed
Ensure that legal documents are filed timely with the courts
Review and monitor new and updated laws and regulations
