Summary of the Role
As a Senior Solar Energy Technician, you will be responsible for leading the installation, maintenance, and repair of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. Responsibilities
Lead and manage the installation of residential and commercial solar PV systems, including site assessment, system design, and layout.
Perform routine maintenance and repair services on solar PV systems, identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner.
Ensure all electrical work performed complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations.
Train and mentor junior technicians on best practices, technical skills, and safety protocols.
Conduct performance analysis and optimization of solar PV systems to maximize energy production.
Maintain detailed records of all installation and service activities to ensure proper documentation for clients and regulatory bodies.
Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to continuously improve system design and installation procedures.
