Summary of the Role
As an intermediate Tax Lawyer in our firm, you will assist clients with legal issues related to taxes, including tax planning, compliance, and litigation. You will work on a variety of cases involving local, state, federal, and international tax regulations, offering legal advice to individuals and businesses on tax-related matters.

Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Active membership of a state bar, preferably with a specialization in tax law.
2-5 years of experience in tax law practice.
Strong knowledge of federal, state, local, and international tax laws.
Experience with tax litigation and representing clients in front of tax authorities.
Responsibilities
Provide legal guidance on tax planning strategies for individuals and corporations.
Represent clients before tax authorities and in court for disputes and litigation.
Prepare and review tax returns and other required documents to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
Advise on the tax implications of business transactions, mergers, and acquisitions.
Keep abreast of changes in tax law and inform clients of the potential impact on their finances.
Assist with the structuring of business entities to minimize tax liabilities.
Draft legal documents related to tax matters, including wills, trusts, and contracts.
Collaborate with accountants and financial advisors to provide holistic tax solutions.
