Responsibilities
Perform regular inspections of facilities and operations for compliance with environmental regulations and permits.
Investigate environmental complaints and incidents to determine violations.
Review and evaluate plans, permits, and compliance reports submitted by organizations.
Provide guidance and technical assistance to facilities on how to comply with environmental laws and reduce environmental impact.
Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain records of inspections and enforcement actions.
Coordinate with other government agencies, non-governmental organizations, and the public on environmental issues.
Stay current with changes in environmental laws and regulations and update compliance strategies accordingly.
