Summary of the Role
The Municipal Engineer is a key team member in the planning, design, and maintenance of public works projects such as roads, bridges, water supply systems, and waste management facilities within a municipal setting. This individual will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards, while also considering environmental impact and community needs.
Required Skills

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Professional Engineering (PE) license or eligibility to obtain it within one year.
Minimum 2 years of experience in municipal or civil engineering projects.
Demonstrated knowledge of engineering principles and practices relevant to municipal projects.
Familiarity with CAD software and engineering design tools.
Ability to interpret and create engineering drawings and specifications.
Understanding of local, state, and federal regulations applicable to municipal engineering projects.
