Summary of the Role
As a Senior Vehicle User Experience Researcher, you will be tasked with understanding the subtleties of how users interact with vehicles and their related ecosystems. You will design, conduct, and analyze research to create insightful and actionable findings that guide the development of user-centered designs in the automotive industry.

5+ years of professional experience in user experience research, specifically in the automotive or related industry.
Proven track record of conducting impactful research that influences product design and strategy.
Strong understanding of user experience principles, design thinking, and research methodologies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively convey research findings.
Experience with research tools and software for data analysis and presentation.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and lead research initiatives.
Responsibilities
Lead the planning, execution, and analysis of user experience research projects for automotive interfaces and systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, engineers, and product managers to integrate user research insights into product development.
Develop comprehensive research plans that address the needs of users in a variety of scenarios, including first-time interaction, daily use, and specialized tasks.
Conduct field studies, usability tests, and other qualitative and quantitative research methods.
Synthesize and communicate complex research findings to a range of stakeholders through reports, presentations, and workshops.
Guide the development of personas, customer journey maps, and scenarios that inform design decisions.
Advocate for user experience best practices and contribute to design guidelines for in-car systems and interfaces.
Mentor junior researchers and contribute to the development of the user experience research discipline.
