Summary of the Role
The Crop Quality Analyst will be responsible for overseeing the quality of crops from planting through to harvest. They will develop and implement quality control processes, analyze crop samples, and provide recommendations to enhance crop performance and quality. The role requires an individual with a strong background in agronomy, crop science, or a related field, and proven experience in agricultural quality analysis.

Strong understanding of agricultural practices and crop production cycles.
Proficiency in the use of analytical software and statistical analysis.

Responsibilities
Develop and standardize quality control procedures for various crop types.
Collect and analyze crop samples to assess health, nutrition levels, and potential for disease or pest issues.
Work closely with farm managers and agronomists to understand crop growth factors and offer guidance.
Propose solutions to improve crop quality and yields based on data analysis.
Report on crop quality issues and trends to senior management.
Stay informed on the latest agricultural best practices and technologies and integrate them into quality assessment processes.
Train and oversee junior analysts and other technical staff.
