Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in hydrology or water resources management
Expertise in hydrological modeling software and tools
Proven experience in leading hydrological studies and managing projects
Strong understanding of water resources systems and environmental impact assessment methodologies
Current with the latest research in hydrological science
Ability to work in both field and office settings
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Professional Engineer (PE) license or similar certification is advantageous
Responsibilities
Lead hydrological studies and watershed management projects
Analyze and interpret hydrological data for water resource planning
Develop and validate hydrological models for forecasting and management purposes
Advise on the design and operation of water resources infrastructure
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards in project development
Present technical findings and recommendations to stakeholders and policymakers
Conduct field investigations and data collection initiatives
Mentor junior hydrologists and contribute to team development
Collaborate with other scientists, engineers, and professionals in related fields
Write reports, publish findings in scientific journals, and participate in conferences
