As a senior Orthopaedic Nurse Practitioner, you will be specializing in musculoskeletal health issues, providing advanced care to patients with bone, muscle, and joint conditions. You will collaborate closely with orthopaedic surgeons and healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care, focusing on diagnosis, treatment, and management of orthopaedic conditions to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications
Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice.
Master's Degree or higher in Nursing with a specialization in Orthopaedics.
Board certification in adult/gerontology primary care or family nurse practitioner with orthopaedic nursing experience.
Minimum of 5 years' clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner, with a focus on orthopaedic care.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Responsibilities
Assess and diagnose musculoskeletal issues, including injuries and diseases affecting bones, muscles, and joints.
Develop and implement treatment plans for patients suffering from chronic and acute orthopaedic conditions.
Perform joint injections and aspirations as required.
Collaborate with orthopaedic surgeons during surgical procedures and provide post-operative care.
Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and treatment options.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary, ensuring the highest standard of care.
Manage a caseload and prioritize patient care needs.
Participate in research activities and contribute to the advancement of orthopaedic nursing practice.
