Summary of the Role
The Cybersecurity Engineer will be responsible for protecting the organization's computer systems and networks from cyber threats. The role includes designing and implementing security measures to ensure the safeguard of data, identifying vulnerabilities, and responding to security breaches. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science, cybersecurity, and various information security frameworks.
Required Skills
Expertise in network security and encryption technologies.
Proficiency with cloud security, endpoint security, and mobile security.
Ability to analyze and resolve complex security issues.
Experience with security incident management and response.
Strong understanding of ethical hacking and penetration testing techniques.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or similar industry-recognized certifications.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a cybersecurity role with a proven track record of success.
Knowledge of various information security frameworks and standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, etc.
Familiarity with cybersecurity laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
Responsibilities
Develop and enforce security policies and procedures to protect organizational data.
Monitor security vulnerabilities and hacking threats in network and host systems.
Design and implement security systems to defend against advanced persistent threats (APTs).
Conduct security assessments and risk analysis to identify and mitigate potential threats.
Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security measures into existing infrastructure.
Respond to and investigate security breaches and other cybersecurity incidents.
Manage security technology such as firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection systems.
Stay up-to-date with the latest security technology and trends to ensure robust defense mechanisms.
Lead security audits and provide recommendations to enhance the security posture.
Train staff in security awareness and best practices to reduce risk.
