Summary of the Role
The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the company's overall supply chain and logistics strategy and operations in order to maximize process efficiency and productivity. In this role, the individual will manage and execute the end-to-end supply chain processes, and ensure the effective coordination between purchasing, inventory management, warehousing, and distribution.
Required Skills
Proficiency in supply chain management software (e.g., SAP MM, AP Modules, SAP Plant Maintenance, etc.)
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to manage logistics of all aspects of supply chain, from product development to the shipment of finished items
Understanding of financial metrics including budgeting and forecasting
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or similar relevant field
Up to 2 years of experience in a supply chain management position
Strong understanding of supply chain processes and management
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Ability to work in a team and lead projects
Responsibilities
Plan and implement the overall supply chain strategy
Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Customer Service teams
Determine key supply chain KPIs
Suggest solutions for process improvements
Identify process bottleneck and implement solutions in a timely manner
Work with finance, sales, and manufacturing team to determine best vendors and distributors
Build and maintain good relationships with vendors
