Summary of the Role
As a Senior IP Consultant, the individual will provide expert advice and services to clients on the management, protection, and commercialization of intellectual property (IP) rights. They will be responsible for conducting extensive IP audits, analyzing patent portfolios, negotiating IP transactions, and advising clients on strategic IP decisions.

Strong track record of successful IP audits, portfolio management, negotiations, and litigation support.
Excellent understanding of national and international IP laws, regulations, and current industry practices.
Active membership with a relevant professional body, such as the Intellectual Property Institute or equivalent.
Responsibilities
Lead comprehensive audits of clients' IP assets to identify opportunities and risks associated with their IP portfolios.
Advise clients on the most effective strategies for protecting their intellectual property, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets.
Support clients in IP litigation and dispute resolution processes by providing expert opinions and strategic guidance.
Negotiate and draft IP-related agreements, such as licensing deals, joint ventures, and non-disclosure agreements.
Collaborate with legal teams and other IP professionals to ensure the alignment of IP strategies with business goals.
Stay updated on changes in IP law and use this knowledge to counsel clients and mitigate potential legal issues.
Lead educational workshops and seminars to help clients and their staff understand the importance of IP and how to effectively manage it.
