Your role involves ensuring the smooth functioning of data services, managing technical staff, and coordinating with IT departments on infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

Understanding of data center infrastructure including power distribution, cooling systems, and network configurations
Familiarity with relevant industry standards, such as ISO 27001 and NIST frameworks
Certifications such as CDCP (Certified Data Centre Professional) or PMP (Project Management Professional) are desirable
Experience with data center management software and monitoring tools
Responsibilities
Manage and oversee the operation of all data center systems and infrastructure
Ensure the reliability and security of data center services and compliance with industry standards
Monitor data center performance, identify potential issues, and implement solutions
Coordinate with IT departments on data center projects such as expansions, upgrades, or migrations
Supervise and train data center staff to ensure high service standards
Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans
Work with vendors and contractors for equipment maintenance and technical support
Implement energy-saving measures to optimize data center efficiency
Prepare and monitor the data center budget to ensure cost-effective operations
Stay updated on new technologies and industry trends to recommend improvements for the data center
