Qualifications

Certification as a Dialysis Nurse (CDN) or Nephrology Nurse (CNN) is an asset.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and/or Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Responsibilities
Assess patient health status including complications, and provide necessary interventions.
Develop and implement individualized care plans for dialysis patients.
Operate and monitor dialysis machines and systems during treatment.
Educate patients and their families on kidney health, dialysis treatment, and lifestyle modifications.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care, including dietary and medication management.
Supervise and provide guidance to junior nurses and dialysis technicians.
Maintain meticulous records of patients' treatment and progress.
Follow the latest guidelines and regulations regarding dialysis therapy and patient care.
Participate in continuing education and professional development related to nephrology nursing.
