Summary of the Role
As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing complex data to inform strategic decision-making and business planning. Utilizing advanced analytics, data mining techniques, and business intelligence tools, you will provide insights that help our organization optimize operations, forecast trends, and understand market dynamics.
Required Skills
Advanced SQL and database management skills.
Proficiency in data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS, etc.).
Experience with machine learning tools and statistical modeling.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Strong project management and organizational abilities.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
At least 2 years of experience in a business intelligence or data analyst role.
Experience in SQL and other databases, and knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or R.
Proven experience in developing reports, dashboards, and data visualization using BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
Understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
Experience with data preprocessing, data mining, and data optimization.
Proven ability to drive business results with their data-based insights.
Responsibilities
Analyze data from company databases to drive optimization and improvement of product development, marketing techniques, and business strategies.
Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques.
Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets.
Use predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, ad targeting, and other business outcomes.
Work with stakeholders to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.
Mine and analyze data to drive optimization and improvement of product innovation, marketing strategies, and business processes.
Create reports and presentations to effectively communicate trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and ensure consistent reporting and data interpretation.
