Summary of the Role
As a junior Insolvency Legal Assistant, you will be supporting our legal team in managing and executing insolvency proceedings, and providing administrative and research support. You will work closely with attorneys, paralegals, and other team members to ensure smooth operations within our insolvency practice.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and legal software applications
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or an associate degree in legal studies, paralegal studies, or a related field.
Knowledge of legal principles and practices, particularly in insolvency and bankruptcy.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with legal research tools and software.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
Responsibilities
Assist in drafting documents for insolvency proceedings, including petitions, schedules, and affidavits.
Manage and organize case files and documentation.
Conduct legal research and summarize findings for attorney review.
Communicate with clients, creditors, and court personnel regarding case progress.
Maintain calendars and track deadlines for case milestones.
Prepare and file court documents under the supervision of legal staff.
Attend court proceedings and creditor meetings as needed.
Provide administrative support such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and mailing documents.
