Summary of the Role
As a Senior Calibration Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that measuring equipment and instruments used in manufacturing and production processes are functioning accurately and adhering to established standards. The role requires a high level of precision, attention to detail, and significant experience in calibration methodologies and industry best practices.

Certification from a recognized professional body such as the American Society for Quality (ASQ) is preferred.
Extensive knowledge of calibration standards such as ISO/IEC 17025.
Experience with calibration management software and record keeping.
Responsibilities
Perform complex calibration of various types of measuring and instrumentation equipment.
Develop and maintain calibration procedures and documentation in accordance with industry standards.
Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis when measurement discrepancies occur.
Coordinate with quality assurance teams to ensure compliance with internal procedures and external regulations.
Provide technical guidance and training to junior staff in calibration techniques and best practices.
Manage calibration schedules and ensure timely execution of calibration tasks.
Evaluate new calibration equipment and technologies to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Assist in audits and inspections by providing relevant calibration records and insights.
